Robert is the founder of SpanDaily. Before working on the idea of SpanDaily he worked as a national political reporter at The Washington Post. He joined The Post in January 2014 and covers the White House, Congress, and campaigns. He is also the moderator of "Washington Week" on PBS and a political analyst for NBC News and MSNBC. He holds a bachelor's degree in American studies from the University of Notre Dame and a master's degree from the University of Cambridge.

James Hohmann

Reporter

James is a national political correspondent. He is the author of The Daily 202, The Post's flagship political newsletter, and the voice of its affiliated Big Idea audio briefing. Hohmann covered local news for The Post in the aughts and returned in 2015 after six years at Politico.

Ben Terris

Editor

Ben has worked as an editor with various magazines previously. Before that, he was a writer in The Washington Post's Style section with a focus on national politics. Terris previously worked at National Journal, where he wrote political features primarily focused on Congress. His time at National Journal also included a hunting trip with one of the most conservative members of Congress, a hamburger cook-off with Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and a trip to Clarksdale, Miss., to write about the murder of a mayoral candidate.

Angela Fritz

Reporter

Angela is an atmospheric scientist who knew from a young age that weather was her true calling. After receiving a BS in meteorology from Valparaiso University and an MS in earth and atmospheric science from the Georgia Institute of Technology, Fritz worked as a meteorologist at CNN in Atlanta and Weather Underground in San Francisco. She is The Washington Post’s deputy weather editor.

Before joining The Post, she was the New York Times public editor, and previously the chief editor of the Buffalo News, her hometown paper, where she started as a summer intern. She is a graduate of Georgetown University and Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
